This week we went by Herr G and he had a friend over. His friend\u00a0apparently comes over every\u00a0Wednesday\u00a0because Herr G is most of the time\u00a0alone, and\u2026 he has pretty bad Alzheimer’s. We had no idea but\u00a0that explains why he hasn’t been following any of our commitments…\u00a0because he just doesn’t remember.<\/p>\n
But his friend said he’s met with some of our missionaries before and\u00a0asked me the question “why are we here on the earth?” Before I could\u00a0give him the answer, he cut me off and said he’ll just give us his\u00a0address and number and we’ll have lunch at his house and talk about\u00a0it. So hopefully we can get that arranged this week.<\/p>\n
We also have a new investigator, he\u2019s been a contact on our list and\u00a0we’ve been over a billion times but he’s never home, but we finally\u00a0made contact and made an appointment. He IS the fastest speaking\u00a0German I’ve talked to… The members have told us that he talks\u00a0fast… my trainee didn’t know what hit him. And in my head I\u00a0was always\u00a0a few sentences behind. But we taught the 1st lesson again\u00a0and he committed to read so we’ll see how it goes!<\/p>\n
Later today we are going to Berlin for Zone Conference\u00a0tomorrow\u00a0and\u00a0spendi
Studied a little about “Hope” this week, Romans 8 gives a nice insight:
\n24 For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for
\nwhat a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?
\n25 But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it?<\/p>\n
Hope requires a trial of faith, really a time period patience with\u00a0faith that you will receive.
\nFaith that you WILL receive. The Lord will make it happen!<\/p>\n
